The IC-500 is manufactured with a proprietary process, which allows us to obtain a mirror finish on the inner faces of the Cryostat, keeping the manufacturing cost under control.

The 500 x 500 mm Cold Plate is cooled by a DS-30 cryocooler from Sun Power Inc. (Ametek).

The Cryostat features a Radiation Shield to minimize temperature gradients on the Cold Plate.

The IC-500 is manufactured to order with the specifications required by the experiment, at no additional costs. Special openings for optics and wiring are machined as part of the manufacturing process.
